The accreditation is effective February 26, 2026, through February 25, 2027.

Awarded following a rigorous onsite review, the designation recognizes hospitals that meet or exceed ACC standards across the full continuum of cardiovascular care — from diagnosis and intervention to recovery and long-term management.

As part of the HeartCARE Center review, the ACC determined that Methodist Hospital Texsan met all mandatory requirements for the distinction, recognizing the strength of its multidisciplinary cardiovascular program and its commitment to continuous performance improvement.

Texsan’s cardiovascular program is supported by multiple ACC accreditations, including Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology, with Chest Pain Accreditation currently in progress. The hospital has also earned the ACC’s NCDR Chest Pain–MI Registry Platinum Performance Award, placing Texsan among the nation’s top performers for heart attack care and outcomes.
