About the Liver Failure Clinic

Since 2001, expert surgeons at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant have performed more than 700 procedures for patients with liver failure due to these conditions:

Comprehensive liver transplant services

The liver transplant team at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant includes a transplant hepatologist, transplant surgeons, other specialty physicians, a coordinator, nurse practitioner, social workers, clinical dietitians and other support staff.

A physician referral is required to begin the process. The Liver Failure Clinic team then verifies your records and schedules an initial exam and evaluation appointment. Following that appointment, the team will decide the best treatment plan for you.
