San Antonio, Texas — Methodist Hospital Westover Hills celebrated the grand opening of Methodist Physicians Westover Hills OBGYN with a ribbon cutting ceremony, expanding access to women’s health care for the rapidly growing Far West Side of San Antonio. The clinic is located at 5126 W Loop 1604 N, Suite 328, San Antonio, TX 78251, within the medical office building adjacent to the hospital.

The full‑service clinic is Methodist Healthcare’s second dedicated OBGYN practice — and the first on the Far West Side — expanding access to specialized women’s health services in the region. The clinic is designed to care for women across all stages of life, from first annual exams through pregnancy, menopause, and beyond. Its opening marks a significant investment in women’s health care and reflects Methodist Healthcare’s commitment to improving access to world-class care close to home.

“This clinic represents a meaningful step forward for women’s health in our community,” said Megan Cool Amalakuhan, Chief Executive Officer of Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. “As this area continues to grow, so do the needs of the community we serve. Our goal is to be a trusted resource for women and families by delivering high‑quality, compassionate care right here where they live.”

Methodist Physicians Westover Hills OBGYN offers comprehensive services including preventive care, prenatal and postpartum care, pregnancy management, gynecologic care, and advanced diagnostic and surgical services.

The grand opening brought together community members, elected officials, and hospital leaders in celebration of the new space. The clinic strengthens Methodist Hospital Westover Hills’ commitment to meeting the evolving health care needs of women and families in one of San Antonio’s fastest‑growing communities.
